THE HUMAN ENERGY SYSTEM
The HUMAN ENERGY system is a way in which the energy of the universe is made available to the human person. The system is made up of chakras, meridians, subtle bodies, organs and glands.
The CHAKRAS are spinning centres which harness universal energy much like a generator harnesses electricity from water, wind or sun. They channel energy through the meridains which run through the body, bringing life and energy to each of our systems, organs, glands, subtle bodies etc...
There are SEVEN major CHAKRAS, each is responsible for a specific area. These are:
The SUBTLE BODIES are spiritual dimensions related to different levels of consciousness and connect to our experiences. We have a subtle body which corresponds to each aspect of our being, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. For example: If you are in physical pain or discomfort, this will show up in your etheric body. If you are in emotional turmoil, this will show up in your emotional body.

Each CHAKRA has a specific tone, light frequency and function. When the chakras are functioning normally, energy will be flowing freely in and out. When the chakras are blocked or torn, they impair the body's functioning and lead to disease. Repairing or clearing/balancing the chakras allows the body to heal itself.
By scanning your energy system, we can locate the imbalances or blockages in your chakras and identify the areas affected in your subtle bodies, meridian's, glands, and organs.

Below is a list of the types of conditions we can addresss. They are in order of chakras, beginning with the base chakra.
Base/Root Chakra The base or root chakra is situated at the base of the spine and is related to the urinary system, adrenal glands and kidneys. It is related to our will to survive and the fight- flight reflex and issues relating to one's tribe, family, institutions, etc.. The base chakra is where we find our foundation, the ability to be grounded in the world. The color of our base chakra is red. Areas related to this chakra are:

Sacral Chakra The Sacral Chakra is situated midway between our navel and the pubic bone. It is related to our sexuality, creativity, relationships, and control. It governs our reproductive system. Its color is orange. Areas related to this chakra are:

Solar Plexus Chakra The Solar Plexus Chakra is located midway between the diaphragm and navel. It is related to the digestive system, pancreas, liver, stomach, large and small intestine. It is associated with emotions and is our centre for personal power. Emotional traumas from your life can be held here. It is yellow in color. Heart Chakra
The Heart Chakra is located out from the centre of our chest. It is related to the Respiratory and Cardiovascular System and governs the thymus gland, influencing immunity to disease. The heart chakra is linked to higher consciousness and unconditional love. It activates our love and trust in life and relationships. Its color is green. When balanced this chakra gives leads to a sense of unity within all things, peace, unconditional love, hope, forgiveness, compassion, generosity, and connection with your higher self.
Throat Chakra
The Throat Chakra is located out from our throat, above the sternal notch. It is related to the thyroid gland, lymphatics and immune system. It is our centre for expressing everything alive within us, our communication and inspiration, the place of choice and will. Its color is blue. Third Eye Chakra
This chakra is located betwen the eyebrows. It is related to the nervous system, eyes, ears, pituitary and pineal gland. It activates our inner wisdom leading to our soul's development. The third eye is linked with intuition, psychic abilities and karmic issues. Its color is indigo. The following issues and challenges relate to the third eye:

Crown Chakra
The Crown Chakra is located out from the crown of the head. It relates to the skeletal, muscular and skin systems, the pituitary gland and hypothalmus. It is one of the higher vibrational chakras linking us to the cosmic consciousness. It is truly a life journey to reach this place and to maintain it. Its color is violet.
